Ruth A. Hill, Ph.D. is an experienced educator, who has a diverse background working in rural, urban, secondary, and post-secondary school settings. As a public school educator for over a decade, Dr. Ruth has served as the District Literacy Coordinator, Common Core Implementation Specialist, and an English and Reading teacher. She currently serves as a district Coordinator of Remediation and Academic Support.
Having enjoyed a reputation as an effective educator and leader, Dr. Hill has a natural talent for designing signature programs and creating productive and innovative instructional resources and staff development workshops. She presents research and conducts workshops at the local, regional, and national level on topics such as literacy strategies, parent and student engagement, academic effort, culturally responsive teaching, curriculum design, program development, and best practices strategies.
